Cornwall Manor, Freeman Hall Additions & Renovations

Greenebaum Structures partnered with Cornerstone Design-Architects on an extensive project that included 5,000 sq. ft. of additions and 16,000 sq. ft. of renovations to an existing two-story building. The additions involved two stories of administrative offices, a new elevator and internal stairs, extension of the salon and a new porte cochere.

We were involved in renovations to the gift shop, vestibule, reception area, offices and Board Room, as well as the retention of two existing light shafts and reconfiguration of an existing interior stair. Records of the existing building were incomplete and field surveying discovered early 20th century construction that had to be adapted to meet 21st century building codes. Construction, by Arthur Funk & Sons, had to be planned to allow continued occupancy of adjacent building spaces.
